Objectifs pédagogiques
The case is written primarily for undergraduate-level courses in human resources, employee management, change management, and workforce planning; however, it can also be used in graduate-level courses discussing workforce planning, organizational design, and change management. After working through the case and assignment questions, students will be able to ·demonstrate the pivotal role of effective human resources policies in managing employees in manufacturing organizations; ·demonstrate how change management concepts may be applied in a manufacturing organization when policy changes need to be introduced; and ·explain how human resources restructuring works in an established manufacturing organization.
