Résumé

This case study tackles the impending sustainability issues faced by young entrepreneurs in the country of Lebanon, especially women to put into perspective their day-to-day challenges and help students learn about such environmental contexts, analyze related elements pertaining to sustainability then propose solutions to make entrepreneurial behavior more sustainable in the Middle East region.

Objectifs pédagogiques

Understand sustainability from a bottom-line approach considering its three pillars:
environmentally, socially and economically viable business.
Evaluate the entrepreneurial ecosystem and decisions for new ventures in challenging environments.
Identify ways to empower women and increase the capacity of communities to address local challenges
Develop business and soft skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, ideation, sociocultural awareness, and perception of recycled & upcycled products.
