Résumé

In the Bogota Savannah, cut flower productions is one of Colombia's main agricultural export sectors. Roses, carnations, lilies, and alstroemerias are cultivated under greenhouse conditions and exported mainly to North America and Europe.

The industry relies heavily on female labor, which is often exposed to demanding working conditions, including temporary contracts, pesticide exposure, intense workload periods, and income instability.
After experiencing unemployment and economic vulnerability in Bogota, Maria decided to return to her region and create the FlowerPower cooperative.
