STRAMATEL: Innovation and Internationalization in the Sports Display Industry

Since its inception in 1981, Stramatel - manufacturer of electronic scoreboards and display solutions for all sports - had grown at a fast pace in France as well as abroad.
The company has already successfully exported to 90 countries, implemented a representative office in Poland and opened a sales subsidiary in Germany in October 2023.

For SMEs, internationalization raises a number of questions, specifically regarding the strategy and entry modes on foreign markets.
Since Stramatel was founded, innovation and internationalization have been the key drivers of growth and performance and have always been strongly linked.

More recently, strategic moves led to develop further products in electronic communication and video and new steps in the internationalization strategy have been taken, innovation deepening the degree of internationalization.
Objectifs pédagogiques
-      Understanding of the changing internationalization strategy led by innovation and the synergy between innovation and internationalisation
-      Assessing the internationalization process through the selection of markets and entry modes
-      Analyzing the characteristics and attractiveness of the German market
-      To familiarize students with the characteristics of FDI entry modes
