Résumé

The case examines Oasissia, a Tunissian circular strat-up founded by Mbarka Mbarki, knows as Khaoula, which transforms organic date pits, an agricultural waste, into premium beauty products. Rooted in value-driven leadership, Oasissia combines ancestral knowledge with eco-innovation to create environmental, social and economic value.
Its business model illustrates the shift from a linear to a circular economy through wast valorization, local sourcing, green energy use ans community empowerment.

However, the company still faces unresolved challenges, including water waste management, limited production capacity, financial fragility and international market access.
The case invites students to consider the following dilemma: How can Oasissia fully close its circular loop while scaling up and achieving long-term financial sustainaility?
