Management Général/Stratégie
This case study explores the strategic challenges faced by the Human Flourishing Engineering Institute (HFEI), a Moroccan social enterprise established by two academics to promote evidence-based well-being education. After a decade of organic growth, the founders must decide how to expand while preserving the organisation's authenticity, raising questions about growth strategy, mission integrity and impact measurement in purpose-driven ventures.
- Assess strategic growth options for a mission-driven organization, including partnerships, licensing, digital expansion, and organic scaling.
- Evaluate the risks and benefits of scaling in contexts where authenticity, trust, and co-creation are central to value creation.
- Understand the tension between founder identity and organizational scalability and explore leadership transitions in values-based ventures.
- Apply frameworks such as Business Model Canvas, Theory of Change, and stakeholder analysis to guide decision-making in a social enterprise context.
- Critically examine non-financial performance indicators, such as emotional impact, community development, and participant transformation.
- Reflect on personal leadership style and values, and their role in shaping an organization strategic direction.
